This beautiful, brave, intelligent young girl is the unfortunate epitome of the “war on women”.  Are you and your free contraceptives listening, Sandra Fluke?  s2 = ss = stylish satirist

In her first video statement since she was nearly killed, a Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban remained defiant in arguing for girls’ education, saying Monday she would keep up the same campaign that led to her attack.

Speaking clearly but with the left side of her face appearing rigid, 15-year-old Malala Yousufzai said she is “getting better, day by day” after undergoing weeks of treatment at a British hospital.

“I want to serve. I want to serve the people. I want every girl, every child, to be educated. For that reason, we have organized the Malala Fund,” she said in the video, made available by a public relations firm.

Pakistani police make arrests in case of Taliban shooting

of 14-year-old education activist

MINGORA, Pakistan –  Pakistani police have arrested a number of suspects in the case of a 14-year-old girl shot and wounded by the Taliban for promoting education for girls and criticizing the fundamentalist Islamic movement, officials said Friday.

The shooting of Malala Yousufzai along with two classmates while they were on their way home from school Tuesday horrified people in Pakistan and internationally. It has been followed by an outpouring of support for a girl who earned the enmity of the Taliban for publicizing their acts and speaking about the importance of education for girls.

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the shooting, saying that the girl was promoting “Western thinking.” Late on Thursday, a spokesman for one of the group’s branches in the country’s north decided two months ago to kill Yousufzai in a carefully planned attack after her family ignored repeated warnings.

NOTE to ALL HARRIDANS BLESSED to be LIVING in AMERICA: What fearless, 14-year-old Malala Yousufzai has been doing for the last few years in Pakistan despite death threats from the Taliban, is fighting the LEGITIMATE  war on women.

Do you see how petty it is to argue for free birth control and equate that with a war on women when a child was shot trying to advocate education for girls? Do you see how shallow and narcissistic your urgings are?

Sadly you’ll continue to whine about all the injustices you experience as a woman in 2012 America. Pass the bicarb, please…
